COME ON DOWN AND ENJOY SOME FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY AT THE PINCHER CREEK RODEO GROUNDS IN BEAUTIFUL SOUTHWEST ALBERTA.
Family Fun Rodeo Events

Hey folks, once again this year we're encouraging everyone to bring down the whole family for a fun time at The Gathering. We're getting the young'uns involved in the pens along with Dad, OR Mom (or another family member)... but remember, it is
Father's Day and they might get upset if we don't ask 'em first.

We'll be adding more details shortly, but among other things there'll be:
  • Hide Race (This is always a popular event! It's fun for participants and spectators alike)
        (Kids lays on a cow hide and are dragged at speed behind a horse, racing against a competitor.
        Up the course, round a barrel and back to start. There are no shortage of entries for this timed event.
        Fastest time wins, but only if the kid stays on the hide. It's hysterical... and can be either extremely dusty... or muddy)
  • Horse Catch (Adult and Junior team of two)
  • Team Sorting
  • Team Doctoring
  • Goat Tying (For young'uns)
       (Young goats will be tethered - child rides to goat, jumps off and  ties goat's legs)
  • $500.00 prize money. No entry fee, just please pay at the gate. Children under 12 are FREE!


You can register before the weekend - It helps us know how many "teams" there will be taking part.
