24th Annual Gathering of Cowboy Poetry
Enjoy great western heritage and tradition - Reminisce for three days packed with poetry, songs, stories and tall tales of cowboy life past and present.
Come and meet the poets, musicians and artisans at the Horseshoe Pavilion. Sit a spell in the grandstand while the experts train a green horse and entertain you, or catch a ride on the horse-drawn wagons for a tour around the grounds.
The aroma of Alberta beef, the "best in the west" will fill the air on Friday and Saturday at the BBQ.

Full Weekend Pass: $75.00 per person - Weekend Day Passes: $40.00 per person.
(Includes Friday & Saturday BBQ tickets)
- Weekend Grounds Passes: $20.00 - Gate Fee - $7.00 per day.

The Rodeo Arena will have lots of demonstrations by working Cowboys and their horses, performing tasks




that they have to do every day on the ranch.

Sid Marty, musician and writer, is the author of five nonfiction books and four books of poetry. He has taught




creative writing over the years as a guest instructor at the Banff School of Fine Arts & the Fernie Writer's Festival.




His latest book is The Rider With Good Hands (Frontenac House, Calgary, 2011).




***If possible, Sid would appreciate seeing several of your poems in advance of the workshop.

You'll get a chance to bid on our popular Custom-Made, One-Of-A-Kind Belt Buckle.
Once again this year there'll be a pair of beautiful Custom-Made Earrings for the ladies too!
Make sure you're in attendance at the community hall on Saturday evening to get in on the auction action!!

We're aimin' to get the young'uns out to support "Our Saturday Evening Cabaret Entertainers" who will
